Mega Savers Auction platform terms. Please read them before you register or bid.
By registering with Mega Savers or any of its affiliated domains or companies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to all the terms, conditions, rules and regulations set out here and elsewhere on this website, without reservation or modification.
Your account
You certify that all information you provide when you register is accurate, truthful and up to date, and you agree to keep it accurate. Please do not change your account name without good reason.
To have another person pick up your items, follow the instructions in the "Authorize a Carrier" section of the delivery notification email. Payment disputes that result from account sharing may lead to permanent suspension of the account.
Warranty and condition of items
Mega Savers offers a 7-day warranty on general listed items. These do not qualify for the warranty:
- Items sold as 1/3 AS IS
- Mystery items
- Coffin boxes
- Any issue clearly stated beforehand or shown in the product images
If we find an issue with a product while preparing your order, Mega Savers Auction will let you know and refund it as auction credit to your account.
Please check for missing items when you pick up and report them to the staff right away. Compensation is based on the staff's report. Mega Savers Auction is not responsible for missing items reported after you leave the store.
The item descriptions on our platform are general overviews based on visual inspection. They are not official appraisals of value or functionality. Mega Savers does not guarantee that product descriptions, images or any other content on our website are accurate, complete, reliable or free from errors. Estimated prices are for reference only, and Mega Savers Auction does not guarantee any appraisal or resale value.
Returns
If an item is not as described, your only remedy is to return it in its original condition. Mega Savers Auction's compensation is limited to the amount paid for the auction item. Any additional shipping fees are not covered.
To start a return or exchange, contact us at customerservice@megasaversoutlet.com within 7 days of receiving the item. Returns are not accepted for items that have been assembled or used, or that are missing their original packaging. If you find an issue before you assemble an item, please contact us at customerservice@megasaversoutlet.com.
A delay in picking up your order does not extend the warranty.
Item descriptions
We make every effort to describe each item accurately, with clear pictures and descriptions. Please note that we cannot provide the level of detail a buyer might expect from a manufacturer or retail website.
Buyer's responsibility
The descriptions on our platform are general information and may not cover every aspect of an item's condition or functionality. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure an item is suitable for its intended use.
Items sold by Mega Savers are not covered by any manufacturer's warranty. Mega Savers and its affiliates are not responsible for any defects, deficiencies, recalls or safety issues related to items sold, regardless of any claims made by sellers. It is the bidder's or buyer's sole responsibility to make sure an item is free from faults, defects, recalls or any other hazard or revocation under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA), regardless of statements or claims made directly or indirectly by the seller.
Malicious or non-paying bidders
Bidders who place bids or win auction items with no intention of completing the transaction (malicious or non-paying bidders) will have their registration revoked, and their account may be cancelled.
Age and account security
You must be at least 18 years old to take part in Mega Savers auctions.
You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential, and for all activity under your account. If an account is compromised and unauthorized orders are placed, the user may be permanently restricted from future auctions for security reasons.
Changes to these terms
Mega Savers may amend or update these terms and conditions, and the content of this website, at any time. If any term or condition is found to be invalid, void or unenforceable, that term will be severed, and the validity of the remaining terms will not be affected.
Right to refuse or cancel
Mega Savers reserves the right to cancel, refuse, hold, disqualify or remove any auction item, bid, bidder, buyer or registrant at any time, with or without cause. By participating in any Mega Savers auction, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Mega Savers Auction retains the exclusive right to interpret and enforce these terms.
